The skin is a sensitive part of the body, that shouldn’t be tampered with or subjected to any chemical stripping for any reason at all other than for strict medical purposes. To the extent that some men have insatiable interests in “fair” ladies no matter how stinky their behavior or even how they actually look naturally, aside their color evinces the increasing proliferation of bleaching among our young ladies these days, just to catch the eyes of the men.
They parade along the streets with their “tye and dye”, “rice and beans” and bluish green legs, with parts of the skin black, whereas other parts are fair.
This is a stupefying phenomenon that should deter any prudent and sane person to flee from such a disastrous venture but most of us seem not to be concerned about the repercussion and aftermath of our immediate actions and the consequential effects they may have on us.
As I mentioned earlier, the skin is a sensitive part of the body…..there are cells contained within the Dermis and epidermis provide natural yellow white color
A superficial blood vessel provide a blue or red tint, determined by oxygenintent
Melanin produced by melanocytes scattered within the basal layer of the skin
It is the third part which determines how the person’s color is (melanin)….which we try so comprehensively to “wash out”, giving way for ferocious “erosions “on the skin.
Bleaching comes by stripping the skin of its natural pigmentation. In dark skinned people, the pigmentation is the skin’s natural protection from the sun. Bleaching alters the skin’s natural structure and composition, removing and inhibiting the production of the color creating melanin
It can also prevent the formation of melanin in the deeper basal layer of the skin, which will leave the skin lighter, making one vulnerable and susceptible to skin cancer.
People who use bleaching creams end up with blotchy skin, using more creams to try to correct the problems causing them more damage.
No wonder we see people with “disco lighted” and “rainbow” skins who believe in perpetuating the erroneous impression of a prestigious status of a lighter skin. They eventually live to regret the ineluctable disaster they’ve incurred on themselves.
The ingredients which are used to produce these bleaching creams are evidently dangerous to any living being.
Arsenic, even in its initial state is highly poisonous and detrimental to humans, together with mercury; they inhibit the production of melanin, which adequately protects the skin against sunshine.
Hydroquinone or aphahydroxic acids applied will react with the ultraviolet rays of the sun and re oxidize, propelling more pigmentation and premature aging.
Mercury further accumulates within the skin cells, facilitating incomprehensible damages to the skin and its natural radiance.
The users of bleaching creams have a high propensity to poisoning (caused by the dangerous chemicals used in bleaching creams), asthma, leukemia, liver damage, anaphylactic shock and infertility.
Aside from the ferocious menace of bleaching as mentioned above, it is an apparent fact that the toxic and menacing substances used to produce these bleaching creams cause skin cancer, liver damage, kidney damage etc.
Unfortunately, in spite of the inevitable dangers associated with these products, people do not see why they should relent in entering into the realm of prestige, an illusion and fantasy where skin whitening is erroneously believed to be a beauty to behold.
The irony of this phenomenon is the fact that it looks pretty cool for some time, reflecting unfettered exuberance, glow and undisputed radiance, propelling a replica of morning sunshine beauty and inexplicable body scenery. Eventually however, the use of these creams begins to subject bleachers to untold skin conditions, with some blotchy greenish, blue-black skin eruptions on their skin. This effect is good enough to scare any potential bleacher from attempting. Anyways……… furthermore, in their quest to minimize the adverse effects of the bleaching creams, they end up using more bleaching creams, which in actual sense worsen their situation.
For anyone who reads this article, I think the facts are clear and obvious, that anyone who desires to or potential bleachers who have become obsessed with changing their beautiful skin into a “new omo, whiter than before” or “Michaeljacksonizing” it, should be mindful of the unsightly aftermath, which is evident in the repulsive unevenness of their skin tone and the many other acute inflammatory side effects it has on the organs of the human body, which are most delicate and couldn’t be compromised in anyway, to satisfy the eyes of those who quite(especially male suitors) unnervingly appreciate supposed white or should I say bleached ladies.
